Spot-Shaped Betrayal (Poem 7)

I found out you betrayed me, so I told the truth.
For you the honesty taste too much like betrayal
I think I said I’m sorry 1000 times but it was probably just 142.
140—you said I didn’t mean anything
141—you were using me and there was nothing left to use.
I guess the last time we had sex will last you another 6 months.
142—you never loved me and I finally gave you an excuse
I realized even if leopards could change spots,
I shouldn’t be hanging out with leopards.
